Donna A. Mery, M.D.

Dr. Donna A. Mery was born and raised in Laredo, TX. After graduating from St. Augustine High School in 1976, she attended Our Lady of The Lake University. While in college, Dr. Mery did research at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Her research was published in several publications, and she participated in many presentations and conferences. She attended the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX from 1981-1985. After graduating, Dr. Mery came to the Rio Grande Valley for Family Practice Residency in McAllen, which she completed in 1988. Since August of 1988, she has been practicing Medicine at Mid Valley Family Practice Associates, PA.

Dr. Mery is married to Kerim Mery and are proud parents to Angelica and Abraham. In May of 2021, Dr. Mery and Mr. Mery will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

RGV Adult & Internal Medicine Specialists, PA has joined forces with Donna Medical Clinic, PA and Pedro J. Peñalo, MD, PA in order to serve our community in the Rio Grande Valley through a stronger work force, better resources for our patients, and shared values. Together, we will create a sustainable healthy society by improving well-being in our communities. We will become better every year at delivering equitable, excellent, and efficient primary and preventive care to all we serve.
